DOUBLE-SIDED ENDWALL MADE OF RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE PP

The Light endwall 800x840 mm is made from recycled and recyclable Second Plastic life (PSV). Compared to the endwall already patented by Lucyplast in the past, the brand new Double-sided Endwall differs in the following points:

The shape and design thanks to the internal longitudinal ribs that join the two panels, leaving empty space and making the article lightweight

Low weight of the article but with the same mechanical and sealing performance as the standard endwall (-23% of material used)

The thickness of the double-sided endwall has been reduced by 1/3 compared to the standard endwall to 38mm

Optimised logistics and transport with 30% smaller footprint while maintaining easy stackability and handling

As long usability as the standard endwall with heavier construction

Cost-effectiveness of the item in terms of price very similar to wooden ones.

The structure is particularly INNOVATIVE. We have created 2 Parallel Plates by joining them with vertical internal ribs, forming a bifacial Slab that we will call Outer and Inner Slab. In the Outer Slab, there is an upward offset of approximately 40 mm square with a central hole representing the plug, which fits into the Spindle of the Coil, which can have a 6" or 3" hole, other diameters up to 200" on request. In the corners of both sides are 4 rings, male/female, which allow perfect stacking. The bands that are highlighted on the 2 sides serve to reinforce the endwall when it comes into contact with the pallet. In the Inner Plate there is a ring highlighted to protect the Outer Edge of the reel from dangerous rubbing that could create breakage points. An important detail is the creation, horizontally, of a drainage hole for water during washing or eventual rain. Another detail is the overlapping of the endwall, which can be achieved with a whole base or with individual anti-slides made by us (optional kit).
